Carry1st partners with Audiomack

Carry1st, Africa’s leading consumer payment provider, has teamed up with Audiomack, a popular music streaming platform, to transform how payments are made within the continent’s music streaming sector. This collaboration leverages Carry1st’s localized payment methods, including mobile money, digital wallets, and bank transfers, to enhance the user experience for Audiomack’s growing African audience.

Audiomack users can now access seamless payment options when purchasing subscriptions, unlocking premium features, and enjoying high-quality streaming and downloadable content from their favorite artists. By combining Carry1st’s fintech network with Audiomack’s streaming capabilities, this partnership promises to deliver dependable and rewarding payment solutions.

As part of the launch, users will receive a 10% discount on all subscription passes. Customers can complete daily, weekly, or monthly subscriptions via the Carry1st shop. Available in local currencies across 12 African countries, including Nigeria, South Africa, Ghana, Kenya, and Egypt.

Users can remove advertisements and enjoy uninterrupted streaming while supporting their favorite artists by unlocking limited downloads. Audiomack’s artist-first approach allows creators to monetize their content, giving them greater opportunities for exposure and revenue generation.

Expanding Beyond Gaming

Carry1st has already established itself as a leader in Africa’s gaming and digital content industries. Known for its strong presence in markets like Nigeria and Morocco, the company aims to expand its influence by enhancing payments in the music industry.

Earlier this year, Carry1st hosted the Carry1st Africa Cup. It was a Call of Duty: Mobile Tournament, marking a significant milestone for African eSports. The tournament featured players from Egypt, Ghana, South Africa, and other nations competing for a $15,000 prize.

Carry1st secured $27 million in a Series B round in 2023 and $6 million in 2021. This strengthened its position in Africa. The Audiomack partnership shows Carry1st’s commitment to expanding secure payment solutions across various sectors.

More than 50 million people in Africa use music streaming platforms. This partnership could boost digital music adoption and support African artists.
