Fincra Expands to South Africa with TPPP Licence, Offering Seamless Payment Solutions for Businesses

Fincra expands to South Africa

Fincra, a top African payment provider, secured a TPPP licence in South Africa, expanding its innovative solutions to businesses.

Wole Ayodele, Fincra’s CEO, expressed excitement, describing the South African market as a strategic move aligned with their growth ambitions.

“We have long recognised South Africa as an ideal market for us, and we are excited to contribute with our innovative payment solutions,” Ayodele stated.

This expansion into South Africa aligns with Fincra’s broader strategy to establish its presence in key African markets, enhancing the continent’s payment infrastructure.

Why South Africa?

South Africa’s $373 billion economy, the largest in Africa, provides significant opportunities for fintech growth, especially in diverse sectors.

Fincra’s entry into South Africa supports its vision of building continent-wide payment infrastructure, ensuring compliance and secure business transactions.

How South African Businesses Benefit

With the TPPP licence, Fincra can now offer its payment services to legitimate and pre-approved South African businesses. These services include Pay-In and Pay-Out solutions, allowing customers to make card payments with ease.

The platform is designed to be user-friendly, enabling businesses to quickly set up accounts, comply with Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements, and start processing payments within minutes. Additionally, Fincra promises transparent pricing, charging a percentage of each transaction for both inbound and outbound payments.

Building on Past Success

Fincra’s South African expansion follows its success in Nigeria, where the company received the Payment Service Solution Provider (PSSP) licence from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) in early 2023. This latest milestone marks another step forward in Fincra’s journey to revolutionize payment infrastructure across Africa.

Looking Ahead

By expanding into South Africa, Fincra supports business growth, facilitating cross-border transactions and offering diverse, innovative payment methods.

As fintech drives Africa’s financial innovation, Fincra plays a pivotal role in shaping the continent’s evolving payment landscape.
